Meet The Team
Joelle Lambert
Founder, Executive Editor
While pursuing her BA in Professional and Technical Writing at Youngstown State University, Joelle served as an intern on the editorial staff of Italian Americana and worked as Art Editor and Social Media Manager of Volney Road Review. She is currently specializing in fiction in the NEOMFA Creative Writing program at YSU. Her fiction can be found in Tough Magazine (2019) and Your Impossible Voice (2019). She is a certified holistic practitioner and mother of one.
McKenzie Teter
Copy Editor, Director of Poetry
While pursuing her BA in English at Queens University of Charlotte, McKenzie released her first book of poetry, Dirty Soul. McKenzie works on the staff of Ecotone magazine. She is an MFA candidate at the University of North Carolina Wilmington with a focus in poetry. Her publications include poems in Her Heart Poetry’s Annual Collection (2017), a fiction piece in the Italian Americana Review (2019), poems in Voice of Eve Magazine (2019), Capulet Mag (2019), and Foothill Journal (2019).
Isabelle Azar
Graphic Design
Isabelle is completing her BA in Professional and Technical Writing with a minor in Graphic Design. She loves to read and learn, and she’s always looking for exciting challenges that allow her to grow and improve. She hopes to work in publishing one day, but for now she’s getting all the writing, editing, and design experience that she can in between class assignments.
